Pifer, President of the largest FGBMF running up to 2,000 monthly and backing of Demos Shakarian, President
of FGBMF. The first meeting was held in Garland Texas by Marcia Kendall in the revival fires of
the early70's, Many original
leaders stand with her today as she stays on the cutting edge with God. What radiates from one heart reaches
another heart through the testimony, the vehicle in reaching those in the market place. Learn to
fly high with Christ, no limit indeed. In learning to 'fly like a mighty eagle, there is no ceiling as "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as
eagles".......This is a New Day of discovery with Christ!
FLAME entered the new millenium by offering
new venues of serving yet in keeping of the original vision of FLAME - "A womens fellowship with a focus on evangelism
for Christ." Today, we incorporate the FLAME Conferences open to everyone for a Holy Ghost party. John
Kendall, Marcia's husband, joins in offering FLAME Conferences held in many cities across the US. where
people often 'catch fire' with the purposes they were born to for Christ.
Fellowship is the key and the overcoming
life is the theme as Marcia and John believe in a transference of power through galvinizing believers in the Holy
Spirit to the glory of God.
While chapters often begin as a natural outflow
of what God has for certain leaders, building people is the focus of FLAME. Starting as a small ember
in the midst of the United States, Flame Fellowship International burns in the hearts of women today.
